Hi,
I use a 913 D2 9.5 stiff Aldila RIP Phenom 70 driver. I hit it really good and want to get a titleist 17 deg fairway wood. What would be the best match in terms of shafts for a 913 or 915F?
Thanks

Hi Martin C,
If you like the Phenom 70 in the driver, there is a good chance you would like it in a 913F 17/915F 16.5. Typically most players prefer shafts that are around 10 grams heavier than their driver shaft.
I hope this helps!
Chris
Yes thank you
I ended up buying a 915H 2 with aldila shaft for less spin and more height to enter the green.
Thanks for the reply

Martin:
I would echo what Chris W. has said. I have a 915 D2 with a rip 60 shaft and a 915F 16.5 with a Diamana 70 shaft. The heavier shaft with the smaller club head just feels right. I also have rip 80's in my hybrids (913H 21 & 24). That's the great thing with the adjustable Titleist metals, changing the shafts is so easy. The 10 gram increments work for me. I hope this helps too.
