Vokey sm5 gold finish

Hi Ryan,

I believe the official name for the finish is "Gold Nickel".  Based on that, I would assume that it is nickel plated.  With the SM5, it appears that the "Oil Can" finish has been discontinued.  As far as I know, the "Raw Black" finish will rust.

The SM5 Gold is Nickle plated, so it should not rust (barring any issues related to hitting stones etc)

With regards to the Gold Nickel, your fellow TT members are correct.  The Gold Nickel is actually a plated wedge and designed not to rust.  Below is a quick outline of what wedges are designed to rust and not rust based on the finish

Tour Chrome - No Rust - Plated

Gold Nickel - No Rust - Plated

Raw Black - Rust - Non Plated (Raw)
