I was fitted for AP1 May 2012. I was thinking of upgrading to new AP1 714.  The shafts I was fitted for was Dynalite Gold XP Reg.

I see the new shafts are XP 95.  Could I use the fitting I got in 2012 and if so which XP95 shafts would I use. The regular ones.

I haven't done a lot of testing yet as the clubs just came out but the new AP1 is a little different than last years club, although the same shaft you we're fit to in the 712 version should work very well. As a fitter we always advise to hit the exact club in a fitting that you are going to buy if at all possible. Different heads react differently with different shafts and for different people.

Wow - Trading in your clubs so quickly...  If only !!!

As for your fitting question - I am not a fitter, however I recall from the 714 introduction session at Eagles Nest they were telling us that the new 714 irons have made some changes to the MOI which lead to a slightly higher ball flight. As such - it may be worth your while to have a proper fitting to see which is the best shaft for you with the new clubs.I know when I had my fitting for my AP1's we spent a lot of time choosing shafts that would give me the right ball flight.

Like you - I will wait to hear what the staff at Team Titleist have to say.
