    Just ordered Vokey  52.08 and  56.11  SM4 wedges with KBS tour  R flex shafts. Is there any difficulty swingweighting them to specs at standard length with this shaft?  Would they have to go overlength to match factory specs? Thanks for your input

    Randy,

    With regards to the KBS Tour shafts, the balance point is a higher in the shaft resulting in slightly lighter swing weights.  As a rule of thumb you can subtract 2 swing weight points by using this shaft. 

    Assuming that their was a requested swing weight, the build team will do what they can to achieve the requested swing weight.  Bare in mind that grip model and size will also play effect on the swing weight.

    Thanks for the answers Ryan. I have tried KBS shafts in a buddies club,and demos.I like the feedback and ball flight that they provide in hitting shots. I felt this shaft would be a good choice for me ,after doing a little research. I'm looking forward to playing my new wedges.

    My new wedges arrived in about 1 week,and I have put them into play. I'm quite happy with playability of the KBS shaft. Exellent feedback ,and feel. They seem smoother than the stock shaft. Ball flight is a little higher on full swings than DG's. Distance control and accuracy is superb,and as I'm not a big hitter my wedge play is critical for me to score. Thanks for your feedback Ryan.
