    Hi Rick,

I am a Master Club Builder and Club Fitter and a Certified Teaching Professional and have seen this happen many times.  There are a few things you can try that are usually successful as these are usually just a compression fit by the OEM's.

First, take a cup of water and put it in the microwave for one minute and it will boil, then pour it over the ferrule and the ferrule will immediately heat up and become pliable for you to push back down toward the club head.  Then run it under very cold water and it will contract and it will usually stay in place.

The other way and the best way is to mix up and lay on a very small amount of Two-Part epoxy and then slide the ferrule down to bottom it out,  place a clothes pin on the shaft at the top of the ferrule and turn the club upside down until dry, this allows the epoxy to flow down and under the ferrule.  Remember to wipe the excess epoxy off with a damp watered cloth, otherwise, it'll harden and will be hard to remove.

To make your ferrules shine and look like new, wipe them with a very light touch of a well soaked piece of a 100% cotton T-Shirt cloth/rag, with some Acetone and then just let dry for a few minutes = instant gratification.  This requires a certain touch, but the Acetone needs to be rather liberally applied and then the rag is used as if it were a paint brush and stays stationary where the club is turned to apply the acetone.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Rick,

You can bring the driver to a Titleist Authorized Dealer and have them send the driver to us to take a look at and likely fix.  They can call Titleist Customer Service on your behalf to set it up.

    Cheers,
