    I bought a titleist 910 D3 drive 10.5 deg stiff shaft before I got fitted.

     

    I got fitted by a Titleist fitter yesterday.

    When I got fittted, my ball flight was straight on neutral.  Using the correct shaft flex.  

    He felt my ball flight was a little high so, he did suggest going a degree smaller.

     

    The one thing we couldn't correct was my golf ball rpm.  It averaged 4000-4500 rpm.  We tested 6 different shafts.

    The rep was trying to get me under 4000, no sucess.

     

    Looking for any tips or options to get my golf ball rpm lower.

    James,

    What shaft and head combo gave you the best numbers? 

    If you spin is over 4000 RPM that is probably more of a swing issue.  What is your normal ball flight?

    If you slice the ball that will add spin, or if you come too steep that will increase spin too.  Or even if you ball position is too far back that can increase spin also.
