    Hello,

This is David from Adelaide, South Australia.

I have an inquiry about Titleist driver sleeve.

Recently, I have purchased Graphite Design Tour AD DI 7x from Japan and it looks like they have non-genuine Titleist sleeve.

So I am not sure whether it would be okay to use that shaft without changing to genuine Titleist adapter (sleeve) which attached in my current stock shaft.

When I browsed online, many people said it is still okay to use them if you don't want to adjust any lofts/lies as non-genuine one doesn't make any changes on them.

I do use them on A-1 or 0.75 flat but my concern is whether there is any possibility of breaking shaft or club by not changing to genuine sleeve.

    Please give me some help!

    David

    Hi David,

We don't recommend you or or your local golf repairer fitting the Sure Fit sleeve or any other adapter to your shaft for use in your 910 or 913 driver.

There is a chance you may damage either the SureFit adapter or not properly tip the shaft- and if you use a non genuine adapter it may cause issues when you try to adjust the settings.

The only way for us to completely gaurantee your driver and its proper performance is to send us back the club and we will properly fit the sleeve and shaft for you.

Your local Titleist stockist can arrange the return authority for you.

Thanks for stopping by the Team Titleist ANZ forum.

    Good golfing

    Dave
