G'day I have purchased a 910D3 driver,I'm having trouble with the adjustment of the sure fit. I would like more roll out and less height when its windy. Do you have any suggestion's for these two adjustments, the shaft in the club is Diamana 'ahina 72 low-mid flex S setting D.4. any help would be most grateful Cheers Peter C.

    Hi Pete,

are you left-handed by chance? D4 is the standard setting for a lefty and A1 is standard for right-handers.

If you are a Lefty, I'd recommend trying A4 to start with, then maybe B3.

If you are right-handed, the D4 setup is .75 degrees more loft than standard. Drop it into standard setup at A1 and go from there.

This is the best thing about the 910s and new 913s. Tinker away with the settings until you find something you like.

    Good luck,

    Mark

    Hi Peter,

I wouldn't go crazy delofting your driver too much to gain some extra roll. That extra roll won't count for much if you can't carry bunkers if you get my drift. You need to find a setting that gives you a nice penetrating ball flight.

A D4 setting is generally for someone seeking a slightly higher ball flight with a tendency for a slight fade ball flight.

I personally like the A2 setting. It guarantees me a bit of draw for the run on landing and it doesn't balloon in the wind.

I have heard of people having success with a D2 setting but I think thats a bit extreme. I'd rather buy a driver head with less loft to start with and add loft for some forgiveness.

Best of luck. Keep me posted with your results.

    regards,

    Mark

G'day I have set the club at B.2 getting a nice draw happening now, last weekends comp had 43 points, 11 drives with a draw one push right. Very happy with the driver now can see my handicap coming down now, enjoying my golf. Should have purchased a 910 driver 2 years ago good technology easy to use, easy to under stand instructions. Thinking of replacing the shaft to get a better ball flight with a Fujikura shaft for high, any thought from the Team Titleist boys? cheers Peter.

    Gday Mark

I have done some range time with the driver and come up with the setting B.2. This gives me a little draw, played in my locle comp had 43 points. Now I'm very happy with the driver, can see my handicap falling very quickly happy with this. I'm thinking of changing the shaft to give me a little more hight,a Fujikure might be the go can the Titleist Team help me. Should I go to a demo day or go to a Titleist club fitter? cheers, Peter

Have found b2 to be a good setting for me, if I go to demo day would they help me find a different shaft suitable for me?

    Hi Bluey,

Glad to see you've had success dialing in your driver.

I've tried demo days and a Titleist club fitting.

Personally, I would go with the fitting if you want the extra attention.

I found the demo day to be a good chance to try out some gear, but struggled to get any real help from the guy in charge.

Try and do your research before you have your fitting. I'd recommend advising your fitter that you are interested in a specific

shaft as they don't always have all makes and flexes on hand.

    Best of luck,

    Mark
