D2 and D3 are compatible right

    HI TT,

    Just a quick question I understand since D2 and D3 have the same tips these heads should be compatible with same shaft is that right? I had awful trouble with a D3 head into D2 shafts. Torque wrench would just keep tightening them and wouldn't click. I've got a suite of 910 products and never had this issue before. Just wondering if it's something to do with D2 and D3 or my torque wrench not working correctly.

    Hi Kim,

    If you are taking a shaft out of one 910 driver and putting it into another 910 driver you should have no trouble at all in terms of fit.  The SureFit hosel is the same size on both drivers regardless of wether the head is a D2 or D3.

    If you are having problems fitting the shaft and locking it into place with the Sure Fit tool, please take the club back to the Titleist stockist at your original place of purchase.  They will be able to tell straight away if the issue is in the shaft or the thread as to why it is not going in properly.  If either is the case we will be able to repair that for you.
