    Hi there, this continues a Facebook page question and answer. I asked why I could not get access to an AP2 Iron with a KBS C Taper Shaft and the reply was that there are 100's of shafts and it is impossible to carry them all. However they are listed on the chart that comes with the fitting cart and I was told TNT if they are listed on there then it should be available. The rep in Perth did not know that the shaft could be ordered in a Regular Plus flex which I hd confirmed by Cathi the Titleist concierge on the USA Titleist site. I did not really want to have to order the setup for me to hit it as that is going to be n expensive option. Do you offer any solutions?

    Hi Craig,

    The Titleist Fitting Staff in Australia and New Zealand do not carry the same components in our fitting carts as what our US counterparts carry in their fitting carts.  There are a lot of components (grips, shafts etc) available only in the US that unfortunately we just can't supply here in Australia purely for logistical reasons- cost and quantities available etc.  In the end it comes down to the size of our market and trying to meet the needs of as many consumers as possible.

    As I mentioned on the Facebook page, if there is a particular custom shaft that you require we will always investigate how much it will cost for you (via head office) however we can't guarantee that we can supply every type of shaft and grip that is available.

    Hi Dave,

                     The specs I am after are as follows

     

    Titleist AP1 Irons (3-W)

    KBS C Taper Shaft in R + flex

    1/2 inch longer

    +2 degrees upright

    Three wraps 

    lofts made +1 or +2 degrees stronger.
