When I was a youngster growing up...

All the really good players in my club used Titleist clubs. I aspired for Titleist clubs and asked for them as Christmas or Birthday presents but my parents never had the money for them. So as a junior I had to settle with Dad's hand me downs.

I always associated Titlest with being "Really Good" and I never felt really good with the other brand which I had to settle for.

Now as an adult I can afford Titleist and have treated myself to Titleist for all of my adult life.

All these years later Titleist is still the number one club as far as I'm concerned.    Oh... they make a really good ball too...

Now my 9 year old son has taken up golf and whilst he has a really good set of Junior US Kids Clubs he want's Titleist clubs to be like his Dad. He'll just have to wait a couple of years to grow a bit so he'll be able to swing them. He does have a Scoty though.

Mark- it's a similar story with just about everyone I meet who plays Titleist golf balls and golf clubs today.  PGA Tour professionals through to club golfers all say the same thing- Titleist was the brand to play growing up and it still is today.

Thanks for joining us- stay in touch.

    Cheers

It's simple really, I buy Titleist because it is quality. Titleist gear is tried and tested by the best before it even gets to market so you know what you are buying is top shelf.

I played lots of other brands growing up and I found that as soon as you bought something, the next model had hit the market and made yours redundant. Titleist on the other hand, are usually at least two years between model upgrades and there are no gimmicks, like white heads etc.

I simply wouldn't buy anything else!

    cheers,

    Mark

When I first started playing the game as a 12 year old, I was lucky that I stayed at a golf resort in Bali and was able to get free rounds and hits at the driving range from the general manager. On my last visit, the club had just purchased brand new sets of Titleist clubs (2006) with vokey wedges and cameron putters. I was the first to demo the clubs at the course and was allowed to use a whole set for my entire stay. Ever since then I've loved Titleist. The clubs have great feel and balance.... and we all know about the balls. Not just that, Titleist has the best 'image', it is always aesthetically pleasing. Golf is just as much about looking good as playing well...

Hi, i had never even considered playing golf until december 2011 when i was told il never play football again i decided i best do something sporting or il go mad in the head lol, so i played a round of golf with the boys and instantly became addicted i went home joined my local club and played as often as i could before christmas, i was playing with my fathers old ben hogan blades and because i knew very little about golf or golf gear i wasnt aware how hard they were to use nevertheless i continued to play 3-4 times a week before eventually handing in some cards i got a handicap of 16 for my first entries, which was very inspiring as i had litterally never picked up a club before december, keen to continue i wanted clubs of my own, i asked around and everyone told me how good the new titleist ap irons were, playing nearly everyday at this stage i was keen to get something that i could comfortable learn to use so i bit the bullet and bought 3-PW titleist ap2's 1.75 inches over standard and a 910 fairway wood that i had used as a demo from the pro shop, i would just like to say thankyou to all involved at titleist i absoloutely adore these clubs and would not play now with anything else the shots i am able to play and the accuracy i get is outstanding and the only difference is the clubs in my extremely uneducated opinion if its not titleist its not as good. thankyou thankyou thankyou

Personally it is because it is the complete brand - from clubs to balls and coupled with Footjoy I have everything covered.  I also appreciate that on average every two years is the cycle of the models.  I started using Titleist in 1989 and owned DCI Black Oversize and DCI Starship metal woods.  I loved that set.  Had a few years away from the Titleist brand where funnily enough my golf game suffered by being inconsistent.  Having moved back to Titleist I am more than happy to play their equipment which is thoroughly tested before it hits the market.

    Hey Mark,

coming from Mizuno for the last while ., and previous to that i used to play the ZM's ,  ive been fitted with a set of 712 MB's =1 degree strong through the set.

Id have to say that based on looks alone the id buy a set, the MB's look great in Satin ( no glare ) the lines of the heads are for the purist in my opinion.

Anyway back on the subject,  i moved back to titleist pre xmas 2011 and ive played a dozen or so rounds, with them now and i will admit the 712 MBs now give me the shot shapes that i prefer !

So i say to anyone, given titleist a go , they are bee's knee's of Clubs !

Oh and as for " really good"  their not really good they are oustanding !

Go get clubfit and re-post your findings you will not be dissapointed !

    Regards

I am only a recent convert to Titleist.

I have played for about 5 years and always has Taylormades. I stopped for a few years and am just getting back into it. I recieved 2 Taylormades 3 Wood and a Rescue recently for my birthday. "But will be replaced soon."

But I went to the local golf shop and had a try of every brand of iron they had.

The decision was a no-brainer, every brand I tried was absolutely no match to the Titleist CB/MB Irons.

This was only last week, I had now bought a new bag, balls and a wedge. All Titleist and have put in an order for a set of MB irons.

I used to play off around 8 handicap, since I returned 8 weeks ago. I have gone from about 40 over to 30 over. Since buying the Vokey, which I use for all chipping, I have gone from 30 - 20 handicap. Once I get my new irons I am sure I will be back to my 8 I was on years ago and most likely further down.

    Keep up the great quality!
