Cocoa Beach HOLE IN ONE

It was about 9:00 when we pulled up to the 3rd hole on the Lakes Course at Cocoa Beach Country Club. Its my favorite course; one of three at Cocoa Beach Country Club (Lakes, Dorphin or River). I had honors, after making a par on #2. We scoped the hole at around 103 yards. There was no wind to speak of; temperature was around 83 degrees. I pulled out my wedge and teed my brand new Titleist velocity ball #22 from my bag. The pin was on the front part of the green over water. We were playing closest to the hole gets a dollar. I pulled by and let my club fly. It hit the ball perfectly which resulted in a very high pop straight at the pin. I saw it fly perfect at the flag. It was so high I thought I would be close; but then we heard this very loud slam. We could see the pin shake as it pounded into the hole. We were confused at first and then decided it must have gone directly into the hole. Everyone else teed off and as we looked into the cup; there was my brand new Titleist velocity setting there looking up at us. You could see where it hit right on the right side of the cup. The pin must have kept it from flopping out; as it hit really hard. BEST DAY IN GOLF EVER!
